Ever since I could remember my grandparents, on my father’s side, had German shepherds. At first they always seemed mean and over protective, but once you spent some time with them they would warm up to you until the next visit where you would have to get reacquainted all over again. Over the years they have gone through many German shepherds, but one in particular sticks out. His name was Bumpers. Kind of a silly name, but it fit. He was a non-stop ball chaser that ran into everything. He was probably the most loveable German shepherd ever to grace this plant and I miss him dearly.
